Women of Vision is a volunteer ministry of World Vision that unites Christian women called to invest their time, intellect, compassion, creativity, and finances so impoverished women and children might find hope and experience a tangible expression of the love of God.
We are women of diverse ages, backgrounds, and circumstances --united in Christ to serve and walk alongside those in need so that, together, we can experience life in all its fullness. Check out this one minute video to get a quick sense of the impact of being part of Women of Vision.
Gigi Jorissen and Susan Garofoli sat down with the Greenwich Sentinel to talk about projects that we are supporting. Clean water. Safety and protection. Education. Community development. An opportunity for a brighter future. Take a look at this article to read more about us!
Jill Woolworth, one of the founders of this chapter recently retired from the Board. Her "blessing" at her final Board meeting sums up both the history of the chapter and the strong bonds amongst the partners.
In addition to being part of Women of Vision, many of our partners serve the needs of their own community. To read about what Elizabeth Boolbol is doing to advocate for women around the globe, click here. To see the good works of Susan Garofoli acknowledged in Greenwich magazine, click here.
Recognizing the enormous needs in our world, we seek to educate and motivate women in our communities to become women of action in helping to create a brighter and healthier future for suffering women and children.
